Tuesday 12th March:  Annual General Meeting.  It’s that time of year again to elect the new committee etc.  Having quickly rattled through the formalities, we will have a more light-hearted discussion on what you think of the Club, along with your suggestions for future Club activities.  Please remember that only fully paid up members will be eligible to vote during the formal business, so please ensure that you have renewed your membership

Sunday 17th March:  Rivilin Mill.  (OS Landranger 110 map.  Ref - 291873).  Less distance to travel with a good variety of walks in the surrounding area including Rivilin Rocks, Hallam and Bradfield Moors.

Tuesday 2nd April:  Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks.  Dennis Smith gives us an illustrated talk from one of his many previous holidays.

Sunday 21st April:  Birchen Clough.  (Dark Peak map, Ref - 109914).  Ashop Moor and Alport Castles are two obvious choices with Kinder and Seal Edge also on offer.

Tuesday 7th May:  Evening walk around Dilham – (Outdoor Leisure map 40, The Broads Ref - 328275).  Park at Honing Common just over bridge.  A leisurely walk out along Weavers Way and return beside the North Walsham and Dilham Canal.  Meet at 7.00 pm.

Sunday 12th May:  Canoeing day.  Outdoor Leisure map 40, The Broads, Ref – 448193).  Come and enjoy a relaxing day canoeing around Martham.  (Meet on Ferrygate Lane, just south of Martham Pits at 10.30.  If you wish to go but do not have a canoe, there will be some available on the day, but give Patrick a ring and let him know.   It may also be a good idea to bring a packed lunch.

Sunday 19th May:  Monsal Head. (White Peak map -Ref 185715).  A return to this ever popular area.  Enjoyable walking on the hills and riverside paths of  Monsal Dale, Millers and Cressbrook Dale.

Saturday 25th – Wednesday 29th May:  County Durham - Teesdale  (Outdoor Leisure  map 31, Ref – 914270).  Come and sample the unique landscape of this magnificent area.  High Fells, green vales, rugged rock formations and splendid waterfalls, including Teesdale High Force, make up the scenery of this “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”  Holwick Barn provides comfortable accommodation for 8 in 2 rooms of 4.  Camping will also be available adjacent to the barn.  Cost for the bunk barn or camping will be £59.00 per person.  (Campers will have access to the bunk barn facilities, including toilets, cooking stove and shower)  PLEASE NOTE:  The bunk barn does not have bed linen or cooking utensils, so you will need to bring these.  Full payment required by 11th May 2002.

Tuesday 11th June:  Halvergate to Berney Arms (Outdoor Leisure map 40, The Broads, Ref – 433066).  Evening Walk taking in Berney Arms through the picturesque Halvergate Marshes.  Parking available off road.  Meet at 7.00 pm

Sunday 23rd June:  Erwood Reservoir (Goyt Valley).  (White Peak map, Ref – 018758).  Starting from this central location allows a variety of walks, including the ridge from Windgather Rocks to Shining Tor, or (as well as for the more energetic) a mass of paths to the east Combs Edge
